Mark Devlin was born in Philidelphia, Penn. on Feb. 9th 1927. He started carving lures in 1992 with little success then he invented the Frogfish which made him famous. Now he carves many different types of folkart lures and is very well known. He says he carves for the joy of carving and gives most of his lures to his friends.

People like Marty Devlin are what makes this hobby great. Thanks Marty for the nice additions to my collection. I am hooked when it comes to good folkart or modern wood lures.
