One Saturday I spent most of the day tracking down this man Chuck Meldrum who is the great Decoy carver. I found his residence on Anchor Bay Drive and was able to obtain a personal interview with him. I told him that I was selling his Decoys on the internet and I would like some background information on him. He was more than happy to give all the info that I wanted.

"Chuck Said" I have been carving decoys since 1989. I have also won many ribbons in Carving Competitions. I carve most fish in the Great Lakes. My decoys are made for ice fishermen to use for winter spearfishing through the ice. Also they are great collectables for lure collectors and decoy collectors alike, as well as decorations. He sent me this nice news paper article about him that was done in the 1990's I had to cut it up into sections to put it on the page.
